HOROSCOPES for December 10, 2011   Leave a comment

This week for Aries, You will have unexpected shifts and possible temper flare ups as Uranus moves direct in your sign. This can also indicate explosions, maybe associated with temper or oversight of workers. Know that you may be more testy until Mercury turns direct on the 13th of December.

Taureans find you are getting closer to being back on track with your visions and are finding it may be harder to stay on a diet through the first half of 2012. Jupiter passing through your sign until early June means lots of growth and self-awareness and possibly a connection to someone from another country. Maybe you meet a handsome or beautiful foreigner anxious to invest in your dream.

Geminis have Moon in their sign this weekend, creating a lovely time for the social interaction you are known for. Your feelings come out in spurts, as you easily vocalize your feelings. You may have work interfering with your plans on Saturday, but take Sunday and go for a ride or near by adventure with a significant other.

Cancerians still feel some conflict with partners with Pluto, but that is an ongoing issue these days, as you are in a completely new cycle. Venus gives you a bit of a break right now and through the 21st of December as she is passing through Capricorn in your partnership house. There will be opportunities to travel with work in a couple weeks with Mercury moving forward, again in your work house. Spirituality may be brought into the work place through personal inspiration.

Leos, you fire signs you, have been in a great cycle of work and money. With Mars exciting your money house, you find being of service to others easily fills your bank accounts. Pluto influencing the workplace is calling on you to take charge, something Leos have no trouble doing. This is a wonderful place to meet a partner right now, and it could turn into something more in the new year.

Virgos – you are wrapping up your independence, and entrepreneurial spree, in the workplace, and coming into a romantic and emotional cycle that relates to marriage and partnership. You are detached about it now, but your sentimental side will be overtaking you, making you wonder how you could feel so deeply. Travel could be on the horizon related to work in the last half of December.

Librans are feeling the last push of Saturn in your sign to shift your mentality about partners. You are going to have a year of relationship transitions and getting to the heart of money issues. Independence seems to be more attractive to you now. Lots of socializing this weekend with Sagittarius in your communications house, you may even be talking long distance to someone you can learn a great deal from.

Scorpios – always intense. Now is the time to LIGHTEN UP as the dynamic duo of Gemini and Sagittarius highlight your money houses. You will be getting your money affairs in order, and for the first time in a long while, feeling optimistic about it. You can be the teacher if you choose, and with Venus helping Pluto, it should be enjoyable. You are finally putting to rest those family control issues as you realize it is your turn to fly.

Sagittarians – it is your weekend. Fire and air combine to fan the flames. You wow those around you, and if you watch your step, no foot will go in your mouth. Mercury’s affliction is coming to an end, and your thoughts are clearing up. Money is good now, with Venus imparting your desires in a responsible fashion. Your spiritual side is in a huge thrust forward and creativity leads the charge!

Capricorns are feeling a much needed relief with the earth grand trine. They have a thread of a lifeline to hold on to now and things don’t seem as awful as they were in recent months. Early 2012 will be a bit of a hiccup as Mars retrogrades from late January until April 13th. That will force you into some soul searching about what is tangible and challenge your belief systems. You will come through it better for having lived through it.

Aquarians are even more unpredictable now. Uranus is bringing a freedom of thought like you have never known. You will not be contained. You are highly active with your inventive side, and sparkle like a star to others. They marvel at your intellect, and now is a great time to move forward with your projects, and teach others how to achieve their goals and dreams. There is a strong possibility for moving after the 25th of December.

Pisces fish, ever the go alonger. You have not been feeling that for a few months. Your ability to detach from friends is accented as Neptune finishes its stay in your house of the subconscious. Your detachment is a state that takes you out of your comfort zone, but it has been a breath of fresh air to the ones usually bogged down by lack of boundaries. You are finding you may be attracted to the older folk as Venus travels through your friendship house. Your needs are changing here. Career has taken a spiritual turn, and you can be drawn abroad to other opportunities through the end of the year.

The Externalization of Saturn   Leave a comment

Saturn

I awoke this morning, and as is per usual for a Tuesday morning, astrological epiphanies abound. This particular one relates to how we externalize our Saturn. In astrology, Saturn is the planet of structure, career, and rules. It represents the father figure and where we need to learn our karmic lessons. My Saturn falls at 00° Pisces. For those of you following astrology, you know that Neptune, Pisces ruler, just went into 00° Pisces. How lovely! I really do like Neptune. Neptune is conjoined my natal Moon in Scorpio. Needless to say, I am a very deep feeler. The thought of Neptune going across my natal Saturn concerned me, though. As a Pisces Saturn, I have had emotional boundary issues relating to what is my emotional response, and what is someone else’s. So as I lay there in bed, pondering this idea, I suddenly realized the subtlety of Saturn’s placement and Neptune’s influence. We externalize our Saturn. What does that mean? Wherever our Saturn falls, we surround ourselves with people who give us that particular structure. This is particularly interesting, since Saturn rules Capricorn, opposite sign to Cancer, whose ruler is the Moon – emotion.

In astrology, “opposite signs attract”, for the simple reason that the opposing signs afford each other what they are lacking. In the case of Cancer and Capricorn, Cancer is the crab, an invertebrate with an external shell. Capricorn energy provides the externalized structure the sensitive crab needs. So the Saturn (ergo Capricornian) influence is a strong externalized structural influence to someone’s chart. So what happens when a person experiences a Saturn return, or other slow-moving planet to their natal Saturn? They are forced to look at those attributes they have externalized. The process is all a part of their karmic patterning, and the “karmic lesson” they are in this life to integrate. The integration is more likely as the influential planet moves across (or in opposition, square, etc.) to the natal Saturn. The similar influence is felt when the transiting Saturn touches one’s natal influential planets.

We will be talking about this concept on April 13th’s AstroEnergy Show. To listen, follow the link. AstroEnergy Show

Waters of Neptune Pack a One-Two Punch in Pisces   Leave a comment

Neptune

This April 4th, we have an astrological event coming which we have not seen in 164 years. Neptune moves into its own sign of Pisces. Neptune and Pisces share qualities. These qualities include rulership over water, visionary, sensitive, intuitive and psychic, emotional, illusary, imaginative, rulership over feet, floods, the power to dissolve, and ability to see the bigger picture. Neptune rules art, photography, film and expression of a creative nature, it rules the astrological house of the hidden, and unseen enemies or opposition.

With the onset of the “ingress” (movement into a new sign), the planetary shift can bring about exhaustion, anxiety, panic, and depression. You may feel more intensely emotional,  impulsive. With Neptune’s end placement in Aquarius, our mental energy is affected, similar to the Uranus just move out of Neptune’s sign of Pisces and into Aries on the day of the Sendai earthquake, March 11. The two planets were in “mutual receptivity”, or in each other’s signs. So the energy of Neptune moving out of Aquarius, an air sign, can create steam, floods, storms. The week leading up to the event will be intense. I generally don’t like to impart negativity, I would prefer to give the understanding of the influence, and help to understand the larger picture being painted. Neptune washes away energy which comes from the intellectual side of our lives and infuses the feeling and emotional side.

When large shifts happen, especially in the outlying planets, the slower-moving planets, it is a significant event. The events take on the quality of the signs involved and the planets. Witness the earthquake (Pluto in earth sign of Capricorn), flood (Neptune) and nuclear crisis (Uranus/Pluto). The connection between these planets and these type of events are storied. Weather definitely reflects planetary and emotional shifts of the people, and thunderstorms, epic storms can be expected.

So doom and gloom aside, what is the significance of this on a broader scale? Simply, we are shifting the energy of the planet, from a thinking, material-based existence, and rediscovering our humanity. On personal levels, we are now feeling we can’t continue to do what we’ve been doing – without meaning. The old motivations are not cutting it, so to speak. We are possibly lost, dreamy, ungrounded, and need direction. Fortunately, Aries is taking care of that, with Uranus, Sun, Jupiter, Mercury, and soon to be Mars in its realm, creating lots of action.

Venus, conjunct Neptune, just wandered into Pisces, paving the way on Sunday, March 27th. The energy of Venus is a lower volume to Neptune. So the desires you are feeling now will be magnified when Neptune works its way in the door on April 4th. We will feel the shift all this week (Mar. 28-April 4) and into next. The weather will reflect our mood and space. As I look out my window writing this, it is overcast with gray clouds and a perfect example of the moody weather to come. I noticed the forecast was rain all week here in Orlando, and if I had gotten to the blog sooner, I would have predicted that. Storms wash away old energy, but can create a new energy. Water is a formidable force, as witnessed in Japan. While tempers are flaring from the overwhelming Aries quorum, Neptune is at work giving its energy to cooling the fire. Because it rules the element of water, it can strongly influence our emotional states and actions. The body “flows”, so to speak, water retention, thirst, tears, bloating are all seen right now. As the flood gates open, we can release the pent up emotional energy to the atmosphere. Liquids will react, and depending upon the other transits, can cause eruptions (lava) or steam (geysers) or other similar Earth releases. This collective release will be felt throughout the week, but coming to a crescendo on or near April 4th. Neptune can put out fires (or reactors), or it can cause its own set of problems. What it can do is give compassion, a sense of connectedness so needed in the times of Aquarian detachment.

What can we expect in the upcoming transit of Neptune in Pisces? Neptune brings about its own form of change. Dreamy, escapist. New movies take on ethereal qualities, the movie industry will go through a shift. Theater rooms in homes becoming the norm. We can escape without leaving the confines of the home environment. Holing up in a quiet place to experience our nations may happen as Neptune needs quiet time. We can get carried away in our own fantasies. Fantasy games or virtual realities surge. The drug culture changes, the lines of right and wrong will be blurred as people are more empathetic, and boundaries are dissolved. Astral travel is an intriguing pastime under this transit, along with psychic education and learning. Psychics will be taken more seriously as the general public experience their own psychic phenomena. The strong influence of Neptune makes our interconnectedness to All That Is undeniable.  The connectedness of our cultures will be harder to ignore. With Uranus in Aries shifting the community awareness as well, there will be a resurgence of the hippie culture.

So as we go forward (for now – as Neptune retrogrades on June 3rd) we can see a taste of the future. Neptune transits back and forth across this point until November 2012 when it moves forward into Pisces for the duration. Neptune’s ingress will be the beginning of a new spirituality, a shift in collective consciousness and responsibility for all creatures. Because of the watery nature of its drive, Neptune will bring about oceanic issues. The health (axis mate Virgo is called on here) of the oceans, ergo our internal worlds, are brought to the fore. “Hidden enemies” are our own, in many cases. We feel the oceans’ calls. More boats and interest in the sea, shipping, cruising, dolphins, fishing and all Neptune’s domain will gain attention. Toxins, also the negative side of Pisces influence, are prominant, how we use them, what we do with them, and how to rid ourselves of them, and their influences. Music, art and beauty exemplify Neptune’s positive embrace. Ballads, lullabyes, and sweetness will be found more in day to day life. As we move towards the future, we will draw on the past, and sentimentality is accented, as  well. Inner care, inner health, and spirituality fall under the care of Neptune and Pisces. We are shifting towards a more expansive philosophy, as our new youth come to demand a new way of living. Materialism takes a hit as status symbols lose their meaning. People are beginning to wonder what they were thinking all along, and seek out their true purpose for this life. Jobs and careers can shift now, as the Universe helps drive us in the direction of our highest dreams.

I really believe this is a coming-of-age our our collective consciousness. We are seeing our own reflection, in the clear waters of Neptune, no longer content to let the results of our bad behaviors effect our children for future generations. Now is our time for change, we will band together and get it done, with some heartache, but for the betterment of our beautiful planet. “I want to sing you a love song.” <3 Go in PEACE and know we are all in the same boat.

Of Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Uranus and Aries   Leave a comment

Sakura is the Japanese cherry tree blossom. This is a symbol of renewal this time of year for Japan as I send my good thoughts and prayers for their quick recovery and peace in this time of great devastation.

In the last couple of weeks, I have gotten a hit about Three Mile Island. I knew something related to that disaster had potential to manifest. I mentioned it on my show of March 9th, 2011. Currently, Japan is having troubles with their nuclear reactors related to their power plants. As we move into a new era, Uranus shifts, moves, slammed into its new, historic position in Aries March 11th. I awoke to the news of the Tsunami warnings along the Pacific coast of the United States. Mercury entered Aries March 10th, as well. Transportation, also ruled by Mercury, is affected. As I write this, fallout from the earthquakes stands at multiple deaths, up to 4 million people in the Tokyo area are without electricity, the subways have been shut down, communications are drastically reduced. There’s a good chance the patience for this situation will wear down quickly, with the Mars energy takes over, and demands action.  Another Uranian concern, nuclear power, is affected on at least two fronts, as power plants are having trouble cooling their reactors. On top of all this, you have Neptune a degree away from entering its natal water sign of Pisces. So tsunamis, and the worldwide connection to this event is felt across the Pacific, as the tsunami rushed towards America’s shores. Pluto in the Earth sign of Capricorn sits ready to square off against all the Aries planets one by one. Today, it is squaring off against Jupiter and Mercury. Whenever we have Mercury involve in a large square or opposition aspect, you can count on accidents and conflict. Upheaval and crisis have been discussed by astrologers with increasing frequency as the planets approach their ingresses. Major shifts are taking place within and without. We see the shifts in our own natures, deciding we have taken all we can take. Our planet is a living energetic mass taking and giving to its inhabitants. It is not a stagnant mass of rocks, water and molten core. It fights, it cries and it moves with the times. It reflects our energies, our sufferings, and upset, as does the weather. In these times of upheaval, shifts and transitions, we can look to our environment not to do to us, but reflect back to us our state of being.

That being said, is it surprising that in other parts of the world there are chaotic governmental upheavals and societal fights for righteousness? The energy of the planet is feeling the change. The other side of the shift is the Capricornian Pluto challenge to Uranus/Jupiter and Saturn. Squaring off in the sky creates challenges which bubble up from authority to youth, tradition to spirit, structure to chaos. How can an individual deal with all the change. Uranian detachment, or immersion, depending on your elemental sign. Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) deal with action, making themselves feel more in control. Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) withdraw and process the emotions, Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) organize, think and get out in nature to connect to the Earth and make tangible sense of it. Air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) will talk and relate to process the ideas and conceptual side of what is emerging. The one positive point on a day of destruction is that Uranus brings detachment. This can be helpful to work through the unimaginable devastation from the earthquake events. There is a “roll your sleeves up and get to work” sense about dealing with it.

For what, in astrology, is the new cycle, Aries, we will be feeling many new feelings that are unfamiliar. The anxiety of planets shifting to new signs will be felt, but know that after the shift, we will be creating a brave new world. We are bringing up amazing new strengths, some we never knew we had. The ride could bring butterflies in the stomach, but on the other side we will be better for it.

Horoscopes for March   Leave a comment

We are preparing for a great new shift in consciousness, seriously. As we watch Uranus eek closer to Aries, at the end of Pisces, we are anticipating the shift in how we interact with the world. Uranus is about the unexpected, the surprises, and quantum information. Circumstances shift based on higher understanding, clearer perception than Uranus’ time in Pisces. How does this play out to each Sun Sign individually? We will explore this in the following blog. . .

ARIES: Aries is the premier sign, the premier energy of the zodiac. Aries begins the first day of Spring, this year, that is 6:28pm Eastern time March 20th. The energy of Aries is the head crusader, the sword carrier, the “Ram”. Go forward, “Just Do It”. Uranus in Aries brings to fruition ALL the ideas and dreams of Uranus in Pisces. It sees everyone as the same, from an ideological standpoint. It won’t discriminate, it fights for the good to the people, as seen in the news: Wisconsin unions, Egypt’s people, Tunisia’s, Libya’s, you get the idea. With Jupiter also in your sign, this is your day to shine, your month to shine! You are being drawn to the center of attention. Mercury is in your sign now, too, so you may be getting your point across, or fighting to get your point across. Pluto squaring Aries planets as they transit 7° will create a fight for life. This doesn’t mean you’re ill or coerced, but it does mean you are being forced to stand up for what you believe in like never before. By April 15th, you will have 5 planets in Aries, all making the great shifts possible when before we were struggling to make headway. Now is the time to move forward!

TAURUS: Taurians will find work is taking up a big part of your time, or you will be coordinating with others. Libra’s Saturn rules this area of your chart. You may be finding you need ALONE TIME more than usual. You need to be deeply in touch with this energy. Now is the time for you to be going back to school and take ownership of what you would really love to do.

GEMINI: Geminis are finally finding their “people”. You are about to make your dreams come true, with Neptune moving from your house of higher understanding into your career house. You can make a career that you’ve been dreaming of. Your romantic life may be restricted now, as Saturn transits this house for you, helping you really understand your needs and desires around romance and creativity. Children issues are highlighted as well, and will continue through the summer. Joint finances are seeing a huge shift with Pluto in this area of your chart. Your friends are there for you through this time, and actually bring you fortune.

CANCER: Your relationships and/or marriage is going through an organizational shift. The structure of how you relate to your spouse. As Uranus moves into Aries, your  career house is triggered.  You are a natural salesperson. You connect like crazy now to people who are more than willing to buy what you have to sell. You may be considering going back to school after April to enhance your career possibilities. Home and family issues will come up as you devote more time to your career. You may be feeling restriction from a spouse as this unfolds.

LEO: You’ve been asked to take more authority at work now, and you are having a high learning curve which will continue into the middle of the year. Your career will take off and has great potential to bring in greater finances in the latter part of 2011. You have a lot to give others, and would do well in writing, or teaching now, especially if you partner up with someone to do it.

VIRGO: Virgos have made it through the last couple years re-evaluation of your worth, and now you are re-evaluating your desires for  your financial health. You are learning what you want out of your money and finances. This will continue through the summer. You may be ready for a deeper commitment from that significant other as Neptune passes into Pisces in June. Once it turns retrograde, you may wonder about some ideas you had about your partner, and if they are real. As Neptune goes direct again, in February of 2012, you will be gearing up for an idealized, committed relationship.

LIBRA: If you haven’t married recently, it is potentially on your horizon. It may happen unexpectedly as Uranus moves into your house of marriage and partnership. The situation could involve you being ready to own the “family” aspect of your relationship, but in conflict with the partner, and their timing of responsibility in your relationship. Freedom is paramount romantically, and you need lots of stimulus to keep you engaged in the situation. If you are bored, you will find another source to place your attention.

SCORPIO: A lot of alone time can be good. Saturn in Libra in your 12th house is drawing you within. Restriction of Saturn pulls you into the dreamy cave to take your time finding what you want from your relationships. When Saturn moves out of this sign next year, you will draw in the person more closely like what you want for a long term relationship. You will be pushed into an arena you may not be real familiar with, taking responsibility and ownership of your thoughts. Pluto in the house of thought and communication creates opportunities for you to express yourself and be seen as an authority. Jupiter moving into your work house, along with Mercury, Uranus, Mars and the Sun, by mid April, will have you running around like a Ram with a latté in its belly! Enjoy, after all the withheld energy of Pisces.

SAGITTARIUS: You are being called to rearrange your finances and take ownership of them. If you have properties, you may be selling them with the transition of Uranus to Aries, sign of sales. This could be a good time for relations with others, and a wonderful opportunity to create, create, create. Sell your creations for an additional source of income. Family issues come up, old well-worn habits and sentimentalities reemerge as Neptune moves into your home and family sector. Keeping it light is the Sagittarius way. Personal areas of your chart are highly touched off now, so know that we all attract archetypes of universal energies right now, and so if someone is yelling at you about money, your need to be a freebird could rear its head and you will not accept the rules.

CAPRICORN: Capricorns are the ones telling everyone how it is. This is a time with more opportunity for you to take your position of authority. You are finding a shift in your self-image. You may be finding conflict from a partner, a career partner, and someone in your family. They could be saying you need to peel it back a little. It may have been a tough time for you dealing with the transit Uranus and Jupiter had through Pisces. Pisces is very loosy goosy with its organization. That drives Capricorn nuts. Right now, though, the tradition that Capricorn loves is being sorely challenged by the energy of Uranus and Jupiter. Both planets loooOoove to have their freedom, something Caps have a hard time with, since they want to tell people the best way to do things! Housing sales should go well now, though.

AQUARIUS: Aquarians are feeling the shift of energy strongly, as they will be bouncing off the walls with electricity. Aquarians already have a plethora of high energy. With Uranus in Aries, in their house of thought, watch how many inventions are born now! You will find, as time goes on, that Pluto’s influence in your 12th house allows you to manifest the subconscious structures needed to make your dreams come true financially. You are given the ability to follow the steps in your daydreams, and allow the higher knowledge to direct your path now. This could be an amazing time for you as you could sell inventions and share ideas with inborn authority. You will find your knowledge is highly sought out. You will also be learning how to connect to others on a more personal basis, something Aquarius is not know for.

PISCES: Pisces, now is your time for financial gain!!! You are the golden sign drawing in the cash. With Aries on the cusp of your money house, and Saturn in your joint financial house, you are in position to make strong gains. The only addendum may be connection to the courts and finding fairness there. If you have a lawsuit pending, it would be better for the judgement to be made after Saturn turns its motion direct in mid-June. Always learning, now is your time to find a new way of interacting with friends as Pluto moves through this part of your chart, stirring things up, and forcing you to look at a new way to interact with friends without running their lives.

Uranus Transit from Pisces to Aries   Leave a comment

Uranus is a lively planet. Currently in the sky, in Western astrology, Uranus is transiting the sign of Pisces. Pisces is a sign of the hidden, illusions, delusions, ideals and dreams. Uranus brings its Universal intellect to any sign it transits. This has been an era of enlightenment, awakening of our dreams and imagination. We have an incredible ability to imagine and invent with this position.

As Uranus moves closer to a new cycle, one which lasted 84 years, we anticipate many new adventures. Uranus is a planet of higher understanding, it is a planet of excitement, driven by intellect and electricity. Uranus is a higher, louder vibration of the Mercury energy. Where Mercury talks, Uranus shouts, where Mercury rules personal computers, Uranus rules the internet, where Mercury rules environment, Uranus rules weather. Uranus rules astrology, lightning, humanitarianism and inventions. Uranus brings about not only change, but sudden change.

As Uranus finishes its run in Pisces, we are wrapping up our old issues related to the past, old relationships, old habits, old lives. Where we’ve put our thoughts, our drives for the mass good. The imagination of Pisces is very visionary. The problem with Pisces is, being the opposite sign of Virgo, the worker, is it tends to be VERY relaxed. While Piscean Uranus has amazing ideas, it hasn’t been able move forward with the ideas. These ideas relate to feeling good, loving each other and innovation. This can bring about oppression by the more cunning and wily. As Uranus moves into Aries, Aries brings  action to the equation. Aries is all about action, moving forward, not asking questions, JUST DOING.

As I wrote this, Egypt erupted with revolution against Mubarak. The Pisces influence creates an emotional link to divine. In other words, where we Understand with Uranus, we Feel with Pisces. With Uranus moving through Pisces, there is a merging of knowing and feeling. There is also a growing resistance (repression) of what is coming from our being. We feel the rise of righteousness, the understanding of truth and a growing need to express this truth. Those who would quell change are being challenged. Pluto in Capricorn runs the status quo, to an extent, but also starts to draw the challenge required to move forward, all the while stubbornly digging in its heels, longing for the “good old days”. Pluto brings about the hidden truths in structure. The structural cracks, so to speak.  The energy of Pisces, dreamy, idealistic – energy of the sixties – revolution, peace, love, acceptance is arising now. The children of the sixties are coming into their own, and seeing Uranus passing out of the last degrees of Pisces (opposing their natal Uranus in Virgo, and Pluto in Virgo). What they were born into in the sixties is having a second coming, but this time these sixties children are adults and moving to make the shift permanent. Pisces absorbs the emotions of what is around, Aries seeks to birth those emotions. Pisces understand the commonality of the All That Is. Aries seeks action to make it happen. We are definitely on the precipice of revolution. We will take giant steps forward this year, and have a few setbacks. As Pluto sets up its final Grand Cross this summer, we are no longer experiencing the Moon, or Sun in Aries, but the heavy hitters of change and expansion, Uranus and Jupiter. Jupiter rules philosophy and seeking knowledge, and Uranus is driven to include. This is the time of the mass voice, as initiated in this cycle by Egypt. The energy will continue to grow.We take the karma (cause and effect relationships) and own them, and transmute them for a brighter future. Aries is the Ram, sign of head-butting, and there will be that, too, as the energy moves to create anew. The energy of the child being born with the knowledge of the All.

Check back in for more updates, and buckle your seatbelts.

Amazing Aspects   Leave a comment

Good day to you! The energy and subjects related to them flying around today is AMAZING! Mercury in Virgo, along with Venus and Mars are bringing up the worth and control issues, again, that Saturn just bogged us down with the last 2 years. (Just when you thought it was safe…) So this time, some of the worth issues relate, strongly, to relationships. Venus (feminine nature and desires) and Mars (masculine energy and impact on the external) in Virgo bring androgeny and intellectual ANALysis of events. Virgo removes the emotion from the event, draws away, and critiques and analyzes the information. Then it spits out a 120 indexed report on its observations. Being so self-aware, leading to self-conscious, is it any wonder the Virgo in our charts finds it hard to value in anything? It is service-oriented, and that’s where Virgo shines, as long as she doesn’t overdo it and forget to take care of her own needs, too. That’s the lesson Saturn left us with.

July sees the Moon out in the active sign of Aries, leading us to erratic, but blindly fortunate circumstances. This is definitely a weekend of living in the moment, and with Aries, you have no choice! The Moon adding to the Jupiter/Uranus opposition in Aries of Saturn in Libra conjoining Mars at 00° Aries proves volatile indeed. This connection of the Moon opposing Mars as it moves into Libra creates strong movement of freedom/restriction issues coupled with self/couple issues. Don’t be surprised (or be surprised ~ as Uranus likes) at the unforseen energies lighting up Sunday into Monday. We shall see tempers flare, and others trying to appease them. Those archetypes are in our environment. Which will you be?

Sun in Leo adds to the mix of liveliness, bringing ego and drama to the party. Squaring all this fire and air (we all know what that does to fire) is the voice of reason, Pluto. But, in this case, Pluto can stir things up in its own way, adding hidden elements. While all the fire and air is mixing it up, Pluto (a higher, more powerful vibration of Mars) forces everyone to look at their own stuff, and realize things need to change, and no one wants to give in, well, maybe Libra, but not the planets in Libra, Saturn and Mars. So buckle up for an amazing T-square at peak theatrics. . . don’t forget your popcorn and remote.

AstroEnergy Show July 14, 2010   Leave a comment

Wonderful! time on the air this week. We talked about love, and careers, and the Grand Cardinal Cross. The show had a definition of the Modes of astrology: Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable. This was my sixth show, and I am finally getting the hang of it and hitting my stride. I am trying to keep the information succinct and understandable. I like to talk about the technical side of astrology for those who listen to learn. I, also, like to give readings that pertain to what people want to know. So if you are wondering what my style or motivation is, that’s it. I really enjoy teaching astrology, and it is wonderful to embrace this side of my life publicly. I have gone through what, I’m sure, most astrologers have faced, “You believe in that stuff?” said incredulously.

I have, finally, gotten to the point in my life where I know this response is just a cookie cutter response. The more I study astrology, the more it rings true. I suppose that is a manifestation of the “whatever you focus on expands” mentality. I would love to share that energy with my readers, callers, and Facebook fans. :) It is a blessing to be able to connect to everyone and really do some good for many people.

So THANK YOU all for listening, and please tell your friends and pass the word about the show.

Remember, it’s written in the stars…
